NECROPHAGIST was founded in early 1992 to integrate the fury of grinding, fast death metal with progressive music. At an early stage in their career, NECROPHAGIST was recognized as one of the leading bands in the growing underground progressive/technical death metal scene. NECROPHAGIST became the standard for progressive death metal. Uniting influences from different styles, including classical music. 'Onset of Putrefaction', released on Willowtip records, showcased NECROPHAGIST’s demanding dexterity, inhuman brutality and fury. With 'Onset of Putrefaction' NECROPHAGIST reanimated the brutal death metal genre that many had left for dead and actually became an influence for hordes of young musicians and fledgling European death metal bands.
Once again, with the release of Epitaph on Relapse records, NECROPHAGIST have pushed the boundaries of technical and progressive Death Metal to new heights, setting an extreme standard by which others will follow. NECROPHAGIST have quite literally gone where no band has gone before...
Envision a musical formula so involved and complex that few would dare to even attempt. What you are currently picturing is exactly what Virginia death-metallers ARSIS have managed to accomplish. Delightfully complex and proggish death metal, flesh-raking vocals make their assault across a landscape of lush, bright metal melodies woven with utter intricacy. They are the ultimate in progressive metal and it’s not hard not to be swept away by such shiny, pretty but heavy death metal. ARSIS has put together an intense musical beast that explores the darker end of the genre with cool arrangements and dynamic hooks. With superb musicianship, clever songwriting skills and plenty of originality, Arsis breaks through with both brute force and well-oiled proficiency.
Australian metal fusion band ALARUM have been around since 1996. Over the years the band have developed their technical/progressive style of jazz fusion influenced death/thrash metal to include a variety of styles and are now known as one of Australia’s best metal bands. The band received 4 awards at the 1st Australian Heavy Metal awards night held at Metal For The Brain recently for their efforts throughout 2004. Alarum received Best Bass Player, Best Drummer, Best Band and Best Album for their release ‘Eventuality.’
ION DISSONANCE have kept busy most of 2006 by relentlessly touring all over the U.S. and Canada in support of their record Solace. With a productive year behind them, all signs point to 2006 as being even bigger and better for the Montreal-based quintet. Constantly compared as no less than equal to such gigantic metal/mathcore acts as "the Dillinger Escape Plan", "Gorguts" and "Meshuggah", Ion Dissonance are by far one of the most extreme, precise and immensely talented band out there. Combining with ease: insane technical riffs one over the other, grand canyon-styled grooves and a disturbingly heavy atmosphere, Ion Dissonance are simply vicious in their premeditated auditory attack.

Bandwidth stealers suck. Black Widow Promotions has found out that there were sites not affiliated with BPW or Behemoth who were linking directly to Behemoth's Conquer All video. Because of this our bandwidth (and payments for said bandwidth) reached stratospheric heights.
Black Widow Promotions had to pull the full, 35mb video. Apologies to all. The video is still availible via a Windows Media stream for those who have no yet seen this video.
